The 10th to the 13th September 2009 is the time for fun, sun and hot Olympic standard athletic action hits the prom at Blackpool when the European Championship Tour comes back to the UK this September. Europe's top beach volleyball teams, including Olympic players, will treat the crowds to a thrilling series of matches during the four day event

Blackpool Rides the LightsThe 1st September 2009 is your chance to take to the streets and forget about the cars. This is the night when Blackpool closes the famous promenade and turns on the illuminations for just you and you cycles to enjoy.

The whole evening is a great event with children, adults and everyone out to see the lights without the cars. The event last just for a few hours but the night is now on its third year and every year more come out to enjoy this great night.

UDO World Street Dance Championships over 20 different countries. Dancers from all over the world will compete in its categories of solos, duo´s teams and quads. Red ArrowsYes folks on the 9th Augusat 2009 the world famous Red Arrows will be taking to the skys of Blackpool, high above the beach, hotels and tower they will fyl to impress.

The Red Arrows are renowned throughout the world as ambassadors for both the Royal Air Force and the United Kingdom. Since the Team was officially formed in 1965, the Red Arrows have completed over 4,000 displays in 53 countries.
