Chubby BrownTraditional summer season shows at the British seaside seem now to be a thing of the past however more and more big names from the stage or screen still come to Blackpool each year.

The Winter Gardens, The Opera House and the North Pier still provide great shows and top names that are for all ages.

This year we have already had Boyzone here and still to come we have Chubby Brown, Phil Kelsall, Jane McDonald, Cannon and Ball, Micheal Ball, David Guest and Kevin 'Bloody; Wilson to name a few.

Well today has been the hottest day of the year so far here in Blackpool. I have just booked tickets for the new show at the Grand for Summer Holiday. The memorable musical, Summer Holiday, which originally starred Sir Cliff Richard and Una Stubbs in the iconic 1963 movie and Darren Day on stage in the 1990s, includes a romantic wedding in Italy as part of the famous road trip from London to Greece in a double-decker bus.
