Blackpool Changes Every Day
New BlackpoolThe Masterplan aims to transform the resort into a world class 21st century visitor destination that will provide a sustainable year round economy for all those living and working in Blackpool. The Masterplan is a 15-year regeneration plan that focuses on the resort core: an area 5km long and 1km deep. It aims to develop Blackpool into a collection of memorable neighbourhoods, distinguished by individual assets in the form of attractions, landmarks, and natural public spaces.

New Blackpoolw being completed and the sea front has a complete new image that is taking Blackpool into the next century. While Blackpool does not want to lose the 'kiss me quick hats', cheap fun and exciting games idea, it still want to show that it can keep up with the times. Millions of pounds are now being spent on the sea front and other areas of Blackpool to transform them into the new image for Blackpool.
By 2012 Blackpool will have completed most of its new ideas. Visitors who have been coming back for years will see just what has changed and no doubt be very excited to see to new image. Along will a new promenade with green areas; we will have a central gateway, new station area, new car parks, new shopping mall, large modern hotels and a fantastic show area on the prom right opposite Blackpool Tower.
The Trams will still run with the classic vintage units for all to see and enjoy, however joining them will also be a fleet new modern trams with easy access for the old and those with children’s pushchairs.
A new Museum is also being planed right on the sea front to house all the trams so the public can walk down and see then up close. This will be a real treat as for now the only way to get close to a tram is to be on it or catch a quick look while they stop to load or unload.
If you visit Blackpool now you can’t miss the amount of work that is happening from one end of the prom, right to the back of town. We have already had huge investment in the new Hounds Hill shopping centre that now houses Debenhams and a great selection of modern town centre shops and stores.
If you think you know Blackpool then think again the future is more than just candyfloss, cakes and drink. Blackpool is changing and you can watch the changes happen every day, just look around when you are here.
