Well today has been the hottest day of the year so far here in Blackpool. I have just booked tickets for the new show at the Grand for Summer Holiday. The memorable musical, Summer Holiday, which originally starred Sir Cliff Richard and Una Stubbs in the iconic 1963 movie and Darren Day on stage in the 1990s, includes a romantic wedding in Italy as part of the famous road trip from London to Greece in a double-decker bus.

Blackpool & Fylde Light Opera Company have staged more than 60 sensational productions over 50 years. In recent years the Company has performed and won awards for Me and My Girl, 42nd Street and My Fair Lady here at the Grand Theatre.
