Blackpool FireworksFirework companies from all over the worls will be here again this year in Blackpool to stage a pyrotechnical display that will thrill and amaze all ages.

During last years shows more than a quarter of a million spectators watched as the skys above Blackpool hotels, famous attractions and Blackpool Tower fill with dazzling colours and sonic bangs from thousands of pounds worth of firewrks, launched from the north pier.

The shows tradionally takes place on the Sunday of the Blackpool illuminations switch on, followed by every Friday evening through September.

Each national team must design and launch a display that will impress the judges, combining the display to music.

The displays always see the promenade packed with folk and hopefully the weather provide good clear nights to get the most of each display.

The world championship Fireworks is something no one should miss. Many of the Blackpool Hotels in town will be busy these weekends so its best to try an book in advance.
